About the Show
This is Kyoto’s only live Ninja & Rock Show: a one-of-a-kind cultural entertainment experience you can enjoy only in Kyoto, specially curated for international visitors.
The show features two distinct, interactive segments led by professional performers with global backgrounds.
The first half is an interactive ninja show by RAIDO, led by a real kunoichi, a female descendant of the Iga ninja lineage.
The performance goes beyond sword action, featuring live demonstrations and explanations of authentic ninja tools and weapons, along with real techniques, stories, and the practical wisdom of historic ninja life—far beyond the fictional ninja seen in movies and games.
The second half is an interactive rock show by KANADETE, where traditional Japanese melodies blend with modern power.
The audience becomes part of the performance—clapping, shouting, and having fun together. You will also experience a simple, guided Bon Odori dance, a beloved part of Japan’s summer traditions and something rarely experienced outside Japan.
As many tourist attractions start to close and visitors often find themselves with “in-between time” before dinner,
this show offers a memorable way to fill that gap with something fun, engaging, and unforgettable.
Approx. total stay: about 1 hour
(RAIDO: 20 min / Changeover: 10 min / KANADETE: 25 min / Photos & interaction)
